Super 44. Flowmaster also has a sound chart that compares all of their mufflers

Do they have the same sound as flowmaster? Cause I feared since it was so small that it would sound stupid like slp or something

its pretty close to slp's. my brother has them on his 01 gt and it sounds pretty similar to the slp's on a buddys 99 gt.

Haha I thought the size was looked alittle funny too.. I don't know much about mufflers but the 10 series is a single chambered muffler which makes it sound louder I guess.. It's a deep noise.. It doesn't rasp or anything like SLP.. It honestly sounds good

i have the original 40's with cutouts on the mufflers and it sounds beast when i step on it. but just normal 40's dont sound real loud. they sound good but pretty quiet. i think the 44's sound louder so id say go for the 44's over the 40's

Yeah I haven't personally heard SLPs in person.. I hear those are loud for just having mufflers.. But the flow 10s are pretty loud without the rasp

Feel free to burn me at the stake, but I hate LM1s.
They're all noise and not enough tone for me.
I prefer a deep, mellower sound that makes people wonder what you've got instead of screaming loud all the time.
Anyways, I suggest getting Bassani mufflers. Screw that noise about paying $700 for the catback; just order the mufflers from Bassani for $150/set and you get the same result.
It's the universal offset entry/exit oval muffler with 2.5" each way.

I have the Super 44's with an o/r h-pipe and they sound mean. Loud, but they retain that deep muscle car sound.

I also agree, with the Flow master. Nothing like that Flow master sound on a Mustang. Nice muscle car deep tone even with stock setup.

I always liked the 50 series. Sounds like the 40's but is a little louder and a little more aggressive. But my vote would be for MAC's. They also sound like flowmasters but even louder and more aggressive than the 50 series. I had them on my fox and have heard them on Cobras and they sound fantastic.
