cutouts on mufflers - Mustang Evolution

cutouts on mufflers

when i got my gt it came with cutouts behind my flow 40's . i like how it sounds but too much drone while cruising. my question is, does it affect my performance having them on my mufflers? anyone have a clue?

The point of cutouts is suppose to be off your headers not behind the mufflers doesnt do much of anything. If they were off the headers it would allow you to have open headers for the least amount of restriction for a better performance at the track

well thats how it was when i got it. do u think it hurts my performance though since its on the mufflers ?

Nope its like having dumps after the muffler, pretty lame no idea why anyone would do such a thing,,, .

thats exactly what i said when i found out about em. well as long as its not making my performance go down. i really need new mufflers though im still undecided

I recommened NONE...lol ( muffler delete is very similar to SLP lm1 IMO that's what I'm running)... if money is no object tho Borla is pretty much the best

Here's a straight pipe vid but to be honest these videos sitting at idle do no justice ...I'm going to make a fly by later tonight I'll post it right after I do it.
