you generally spin everything slower when you run pulleys, most only have issues with the alternator pulley if they dont put a smaller one back on to speed it back up. This is usually only an issue if they have a system in the car and you are sitting around near idle.

I never had any issues on my 01V6 with a crank pulley swap (25% slower)

I've heard that as well with the oil pumps used on the Mach 1 engines. I'm not planning to ever run with under drive pulleys, but if you do, at least use the Steeda set. Supposedly they worked with Ford on designing them. Maybe they were able to create something that doesn't effect harmonic balance..?

It could be something with Mach engines and the oil pumps eledgedly being weak. But, I will say I have never heard that with the SOHC 4.6L engines. The only thing I've heard is that you should put stock pulley's back on if you go forced induction.

They prob will if u buy the other set from them. Steeda is going to be more expensive, so more money for them. AM always tries to make us happy. Post them question in their section or call them.
