It depends what sound you are going for. SLP's will be very loud and raw/raspy compared to the Violators which will be much deeper, hardly any rasp, and more "hollow" sounding if that makes any sense. Not to knock either in any way, but that's the nature of a straight through muffler compared to a chambered. I have Violators on my '06 GT and love them.

I have an x pipe and flows on now but I deffinetly don't want raspy lol. A nice deep muscle sound is what I want. Like a deep cobra sound

i dont kno wat the violators sound like but dont even think of getting the slp's if u dont want raspy. stick to flowmasters . i barely bought some slp's still waiting on them to arrive :/ . they sound super beast in person with an off road x

I have the Violators on my otherwise stock 01 except for Airaid CAI. I think its a perfect, deep sound, no rasp and no drone.

Well it was record with a phone .. Can't expect to get perfect sound quality

I have violators on my car not much louder than stock. I just bought loudmouth yesterday heard they are pretty damn loud am has them on sale this month. Pypes didn't fit the greatest I would stay away from them.

Pypes is known for not so good quality. However I have pypes o/r h pipe and it's quality was great and fit was great also.

I love loud and the violators just didn't cut it for me. I have a catted x from slp love it great quality.

Ive done both magnaflow and Pypes, quality is the same, a stainless tube, theres nothing inside really.
