coil packs

I have a 2002 ft and the coil packs are going out one at a time. I figured instead of keep buying factory replacements I would get performance ones. I was thinking about screamin demon but then I read about them and not getting them now. What is some good ones to go with and where could I get them. Thanks ahead of time.

I would just replace them with new motor craft ones, those after market ones won't really give you a noticeable improvement over stock

Really why is that? I just don't want to keep buying one here and one there when I can just get 8 performance ones and be done with it. In about 1500 miles number 8,2 and now 5 has gone out. And I keep getting a code that says something like misfire on start up, then another one saying misfire in numer 5 cylinder.

Have you had a mechanic diagnose that it was the coil packs that were causing the misfire? Have you checked your plugs? Any coolant in there?

There isn't any coolant in the cylinders. I have 132,000 miles on her already. When I got the codes for the coils packs, I tested them and I got no spark from them. So I just replaced the first two that came up and now a 3rd. So its just raising questions.

Hey I found this for you, a little cheaper than some performance websites but maybe if you prefer to buy from another website they'll probably price match. ACCEL 140032-8 2 Super Coil Kit http://amzn.com/B001O0BJUK

Accel Super COPs are awesome.

MSD is great too. It's just a budget issue.
