Rims?

So I'm set on staggered black FR500's, and then getting rid of the Bullitt style wheels. But didn't know if I should go for 18's, or get 17's? The Bullits I have are 17s and there's wheel gap in the front and back that I don't like, even though I have steeda sports.
Just wanted opinions on it, attached some pics so you guys could better judge

well go for another set of 17's. thats just my opinion though. i dont really like the ideas of 18's just to "fill in the gap" . i prefer smaller rims and dropped really low.

Yea that's true. But I think I'm as low as I need to go because the roads aren't forgiving here in NC...and I can't even go over speed bumps straight now and it'll still scrap my trans, so I can't imagine it being any lower lol

Mines lowered 2.5rear and 2.3front with staggered fr500's in silver. 265 front tire and 275 rear the 275 looks sick because it kinda looks stretched.

major irony here. Im in the exact same boat your in to a T however im just not sure if I should just save my cash and be happy with the bullitts or if i do it than im going 18's without a doubt. So if your past the point of deciding whether or not to spend $ than surely go with the 18's. I think its a no brainer. Just be careful of the setup you get. If you go with the incorrect profile you wont reduce your fender gap. In fact, ive seen people actually increase it even after getting a bigger wheel.

Yeah there from wheelreplicas.com, cheap and supposely what i have heard(on the internet) is wheelreplicas and americanmuscle.com order their wheels from the same company so why not spend less and buy tires seperate this set up cost me about 1300-1400. Not bad.

Well the Bullits came with the car and I'm finally tired of them, so when it's time for new tires Im just going to get new rims while I'm at it and yea, I'll def be doing my research and all to make sure I don't increase the gap lol

so you went from bullitts to fr500's? did you go 17's to 18s? What made ya ditch the bullitts for the fr500's? and were you stoked about your decision. Sorry man about the 20 questions just trying to help with my indecisiveness

Yes i went from stock bullitts to fr500's and yes 17 to 18's. i didnt want to get the same wheel just an inch bigger even though i like them i just felt like 1400$ should be spent on something different and i have always liked the fr500's. and yes! I love them now that i have them it looks so clean and in my town i have not seen any other mustang with fr500's. people have saleens, bullitts or just stock it seems so im very happy with my decision. But i got so caught up on is it the right decision i just bought them lol.

They aren't awful. I did the math and you can get just the rims on AM for $590 if you want the staggered look and then find different tires, probably what I'll do

Yeah that's exactly what I plan on doing now. Did you go with 265s on the front and 285s for the rear?
