bye bye bearing

Well registered newbie to the login screen and posting but have had the app on my phone (top used of all 50) for awhile to search and diagnose numerous but thankfully small troubles. (iac, coils, injectors) ...so far... but never made a profile until now thanks to a rod bearing knocking it #8, so im posting this as a thanks for whoever has probably already written a thread and will help direct me where to go with a 95 5.0 swap into a 98 5spd 4.6. Im just a bit lost as to where to start on this website - newbie

I believe the 5.0 will not bolt up to a 4.6 transmission. You'd have to swap out the whole drivetrain.

Your correct. They switched transmissions. Different bell housing.
