pypes m80s

Does anybody have em with stock h pipe. They're advertised as deep and throaty but they look like glasspacks. I want deep tone.

The m-80s are a glasspack style muffler just like the magnapacks or the borla stingers. I myself just have plain generic glasspacks and a catted h pipe and there really deep and suprisingly quiet when just driving normally, but when you get on it there are super loud I think if your going for deep you will like the m-80s

Right now I have no mufflers and the popping is getting annoying. Does yours pop a lot? I've been thinking of getting some cheap glasspacks.

What do you mean by popping, are you talking about like a backfire pop? or just the crackleing sound when the rpms are dropping. If its the crackling sound the yes the pop a little bit but only when there cold. But if you really want to clean up the crackling i would get the longest glasspacks you can, mine are 14 inches so there pretty short.

Crackling is what I meant. What would be the difference between m80s and just regular glasspacks?

I have the M80s when I had the stock h pipe they sounded very good, clean deep tone, if you downshift and let the rpms fall they will crackle and pop but only then, and now I have a o/r h and its still very deep no rasp and very loud

My stock h had 4 cats on it just to clarify

I only have 2 cats, and as for the crackle, it really only crackles when you engine break from a high rpm and when you rev it above 3k but I think that the m-80s would be the better choice, less crackle compared to the glass packs because they use more packing.
