Might buy 97 cobra

What should I look for on the car? How does the engine hold up?

in my opinion id go with a 94-95 cobra because it has the 5.0 unless you want the 4.6

The 4v 4.6 is a lot better than the 5.0

A friend if mine is selling there's. it has some minor problems. Something about an oil pump. And I'm just curious in how the 97 cobra will stack up against my 05 gt

I would personally keep the 05. I'm sure someone who has more knowledge on the 4v will chime in but you have the same amount of hp stock for stock I believe and I'm pretty sure you have to pull the motor to replace the oil pump
