Gearbox issue - Mustang Evolution

Gearbox issue

So I was rippin 2nd thru 3rd on the main road and i went to power shift to 3rd and when I did my gearbox felt as is it just disengaged from my trans I could take my shifter and move it in a circular motion and I put it back in neutral and it engaged back in anyone know what happened?

Wtf... That is kinda scary. Does it Shift well still?

Yea WTF, real scary bro, never heard of that. I'm assuming all is well now? Hopefully someone will chime in who's had or heard of this issue

Is it an aftermarket shifter? Maybe the shifter itself came loose from the trans. Happened to me at the track. Pop the console out where the shifter is and see if anything is loose.

Do u have a third gear at all??? Without power shifting? Cuz if not you just destroyed that gear lol happened to me last year

Hahahaha yes it was the scariest moments of my life lol but yea I still have all my gears and all is well now 2nd time it's happened so no more power shifting like Hercules I think what I did is try to shift too soon before hitting the clutch all the way idk almost **** myself tho
