97 cobra vs 05 gt

What are you guys thoughts? I have an 05 gt and a friend of mine is selling his cobra because they don't drive it and there's some minor problems. What's the performcae of these cars? I might by his and fix it

It will be close. Any mods to either? Is your car manual? I'm assuming the cobra is. His car has 305HP/320, but that engine is a 4 valve motor and the hold their. May come down to a drivers race, but I think the cobra may have you by a length or so. Many variables involved.

Cobra has around the same amount of power, but is also a lot lighter than your current GT... Now i do know that your car isn't stock, so your current car right now is faster. I like Cobras but honestly I hate that years body style... Every other generation has grown on me (Hell i used to think NEs were ugly, now i own and love one) but not the 94-98. But hey, its a Cobra lol

There's no auto cobra's in the sn95 body style.

True however there is always the possibility of a swap. I swapped mine from auto to manual and added two cylinders.

Hey bud off the topic on thread but I'm installing gauges like yours, mine pulls up theft when I try to start the car... What do I need to do?
