Roush 360R

Hey everyone, Im looking into trading my 99 GT Convertible (86K) for a 2002 Roush 360R with every available option, its a stage 3, supercharged, and has only 8K miles! Im just wondering what you guys think this car is worth? Im goin trade my car and cash on top obviously but don't wana overpay, especially since is so damn hard to find anything on these 360's. And am i stupid for still being partial to the saleens instead of this 360 R lol. Thanks ahead of time guys!

I myself am partial to the Saleen over the Roush as well. The Saleen seems to have a larger aftermarket fallowing but the Roush is still very impresive as well. However you are talking about a 360R which at one point was king of the Roush production line and like the Saleen it is supercharged and will respond to mods well and make for one hell of a street car. I'd look up the blue books on both and see if the guy will cut you a deal. He obviously has some debts to settle if hes willing to downgrade to a GT and cash for his 360R.

Saleen or Roush, just an opinion on which you like more, but most are simply GT mustangs wtih stuff done to them so that hurts value a ton (VIN reads GT so banks/etc see them as GT's nearly all the time so harder to finance etc etc and their values drop quick). Thankfully for 2002 the value should be about as low as its going to go and will come up quicker since its a more rare vehicle going forward.

Saleen are probably more rare~ but both look good.

Cant find anything too specific on value. KBB doesn't even get into model specifics like roush just GT deluxe or GT convertible more or less. And does the 2002 Roush have forged internals like the term does? Or is it just another FI stock GT that we need to keep our fingers crossed down the road.?

^^ its just a normal GT, only the Saleen Extreme offers forged internals, perhaps some Roush model offers a built motor but not that I know of.

Of course there ARE 03/04 cobras that exist that are converted by Roush/Saleen but they are VERY rare, I would much rather have a stock 03/04 cobra than a Roush/Saleen with the Gt motor/blower combo so you will have much more room to grow~ but it just depends on what you want out of it.

I don't want much, I have pretty moderate goals, i want 300 at the wheels and i want it to look like a saleen but have the motor of the termi lol. And yea i figured it didn't have the forged internals but was worth a shot. starting to regret just jumping into the mustang i have now. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, its a great running car just kinda wish i woulda saved more pennies and bought sum thin like that 2003 cobra vert

The Roush P51 has a built 4.6 3v engine similar to the Terminator 4.6 4v but the P51 is a S197 model.

You could peice together a centri charger. Its a better performer for the New Edge GT's weight class anyway due to where its effects on the powerband are.

^^ ah true, I forgot about the P51 Roush, also the Roush Hammer has a built motor with no real exterior changes, and i think they are doing the same P51 roush stuff on other models now.

Personally I would save for what you want, research and know what you are getting. 300rwhp sounds great, but it gets old FAST, 2011+ V6's have about 270rwhp FYI~
