I've got Accufab throttle body and plenum and jlt cai Bassani mid length headers Bassani o/r x flowmaster catback new motor mounts mm under drive pulleys all tuned by JPC. I blew a rod so I have an aluminum block now from an 03 manual Mach 1 with its internals. Same heads though.

ok thanks man, that helps a lil bit, Fastlane Motorsports in Benson, NC did all my work and told me thats one of the best 2v automatic they have seen run on the dyno , but i have a tune for 93 setup on my car , think i would see alot tale HP jump switching to 93?

Another thing to consider is that you really can't compare one dyno to another. Their readouts vary wildly even with sae corrections

Yeah that's for sure my buddy had 350rwhp and 372rwtq in his mustang on one dyno and got 330rwhp and 358rwtq on another so they are not honestly that reliable on specifics

My mach ran 343 rwhp on a dynojet, 269 on this heartbreaker ******* mustang dyno (remember stiffer calibration yields cleaner data) and most recently 299 on a local mustang dyno. I just tell people it runs mid to low 13 at 5600 ft on a warm day.

yea very dangerous, i feel like a ricer doing my appearance mods first but i was kinda forced into it. Cant be doin engine mods when the clear coat is peeling lol. So between body kit spoiler rims and fog lights and bezels in at around $1500 already. (got a killer deal on saleen rims) I wasn't sure if i wanted to pour to much money into the car because I'm debating getting a sc saleen. You normally don't get back the money u throw into ur car so kinda weighing my options at this point and the best way to possibly sell what i have is to make sure its a 10 cosmetically (engine is fine)

sry that was a reply to a post on last page. ^^ that reply no longer fits into the conversation right now lol

What do Saleens run where you live? 12-15? I bet you could snag a pristine 01 cobra, a really really nice Mach, or even a decent terminator for that. Any of those will wipe the floor with a Saleen (01 or Mach have loads more potential and the termi is clearly just a monster) and will hold value just as well, the terminator will hold it much much better in fact.

yea believe me i wish i would have saved my pennies for a termi or sc saleen..... both join run me around $22000 or so maybe with the saleen being a hair or two less. I live near Boston. I just like the rarity of the saleen and of course the looks. I don't think any mustang look nicer (99-04 years). Termi is all motor too which is great

I'm a Mach 1 lover honestly but I'd take a termi if the chance ever arose

A terminator isn't all motor at all. It's supercharged.
I can't believe a terminator is $22k up there; I see them with 60k miles for 15-17 all the time down in the south.

I like Mach 1s but honestly I like the rarity of Bullitts and how they are a movie remake, even though its only a 2v, I sure as hell wish they woulda put a 4v in the Bullitts, but I still love it.

This is part of my love for the mach 1. You got all the parts that made the bullitt great plus the quadcam. And that shaker hood just makes my day every time I leave the house.

im near Raleigh nc and any 03-04 Cobra is no less than 20K, any less than 20k and its got over 100,000 miles. which is very high on a supercharged motor. hell Mach1s around here are about 15K for mileage around 60,000. but I mean the Mach1 motor is basically a Cobra motor without a supercharger. lowest i seen a termi go for around here was 16K and it had 133,000 miles....i need to figure out where all u guys are at and buy a termi and bring it back here and make about 5K!! lol i wouldnt want to sell it is the bad thing lmfao

Umm besides the forged rods and pistons (if you buy a manual), and the different heads and cams, then yeah they're totally the same

Well....no. That's completely false.
The cobra internals are all forged, whereas the Mach isn't. The cobra motor can safely run around 700-750 easily (you can always push more, HPP built a twin turbo cobra pushing 1,100 on a completely factory motor, but it was completely destroyed a few weeks later), I know of many owners over on SVTPerformance running 700 on a daily driver with tunes for 800-850 when they want to go out and play without any problems at all; the Mach MIGHT be able to run 500-550 for more than a week without exploding.

Send me a link or the dealers number. If it's clean and no accidents, I've got some stock I could sell.

Heads and cams are the same (I lost a huge debate about this) The block, rods, and pistons are different.

Ok, I wasn't sure if they had B heads or C heads.

Yeah they're the upgraded C heads. They flow really well. I can't wait to rebuild this engine. Forged stroker kit at 10.5-11:1 with the possibility to run low boost later.

and notice i said BASICALLY guys, obviously people would just buy an 03-04
mach1 and put a Sc on it if that was the case,
i know there are more differences than a SC but BASICALLY they are the same.

I think he may be referring to the 99-01 cobra, which would be much more similar to my knowledge. Also correct me if I am wrong, but Machs have a forged crank, right?
