04 mustang gt longtubes or shortys?

Should I use long tubes or shortys headers

I don't think shorties really change that much, long tubes should have good gains

This. Shorties are completely useless. They don't flow or scavenge any better than the factory manifold. Ford did really well with TB factory manifolds on these cars; shorties will get you next to nothing in terms of gains.
LTs are the only choice for headers.

X1000 on this, couldn t have said it better. LTs are the only have to go with headers,

Longtubes all the way man. I have the BBKs from American Muscle. Awesome gains!!! Combine them with a x pipe and a cat back, best sound and power for the price.

yeah i got the BBK LT headers too man but i went with the off road H pipe and it sounds like a whole diff car !!

Oh yeah man. That's the way to go. I'm rockin a x pipe on mine with pypes exhaust. I wake the whole neighborhood up when I leave to go to work!!
