blown 99 gt motor puting in a 2000 gt motor

i have a 99 4.6 5 speed the motor is blown and i have a 2000 4.6 automatic engine to put in. what will i have to do to get this motor to work in my car and will the fly wheel bolt right up to the new motor ????

you should only have to change the flywheel from your motor to the new motor.

It should bolt up fine, just swap the flywheel.

They're the exact same motor; the only difference is the tranny.

On the fly wheel 2 of the holes are Alittle off so I guess it don't fit the 2000 motor

They only line up one way... 99 to early 01 motors were made in the Windsor plant and then late 01-04 were made in the Romeo plant

The holes are that way to index the flywheel bolt holes are that way to balance the motor
