cai brand question

I am trying to sqeeze any hp i can get out of my car. I know all cai are about the same, but i wanted to ask u guys which cai could give me the most hp possible?

doesnt really matter unless u get a tuner to go with it. the real question is which looks better under the hood imo

Not gonna gain much if any Hp with a cai without a tune, pretty much just gaining a sucking/whistling sound..

Read the Beginner's mods sticky--you will see that CAIs are not on the list; other than that the stock intake is a CAI, and a pretty good one to boot...

So u are saying that these companies are saying about the hp you can gain even on a dyno for example like American muscle or so, they are full of crap?

Pretty much, ask them for a dyno chart where, on a mostly stock 2V, the ONLY change was the intake...

Get a basic K&N intake, and spend the saved money on other mods
