removing valve covers on a 2v - Mustang Evolution

removing valve covers on a 2v

can someone please tell me the steps on doing this ? i want to paint mine red

I would have to look but it shouldn't be hard. Remove the coil packs, remove any wired in the way....the take out all the valve cover bolts. I would cover up the heads with clean shop towels while you have the covers off

I did mine while swapping my intake manifold and it was still a pain.. Even with a lot off. The back bolts on each side are hard to get off and back on.

It can't be worse than the valve covers on my 5.4 3v where you can't even see the back of the valve cover. And I can get them off in 15-20 min each.

Wouldn't doubt it. It probably took me about the same considering i kept dropping my ratchet cause of the awkward position my arm was in

From what I looked at yesterday to have a few bolts that are under the break booster that are a pain but other than that fairly simple to get off
