X pipe vs H pipe.

As of now I have just flowmaster exhaust. Strongly considering getting an x or h pipe. Opinions on which?

Depends on your preference really, H pipe give you that lower/deeper tone where as X pipe will give you a more sporty/raspy tone.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards H pipes bc I'm not a bit fan of the raspy sound.

Well then I would say that is the way to go! I like the raspy sound as long as it's not so over powerful that it's obnoxious.

Yeah my buddy has flowmaster with x pipes and it is too much for me. But I figured the power gain would be worth the sound. But I'll look into h pipes more for sure.

I got an h pipe. I recommend it for people that want muscle car sound. But since you have flows x pipe won't create much of a rasp.

Dont worry about power, between the two its a 1-2hp difference at most, Everyone has a difference in preference but from what ive heard:

H: Deep muscle rumble.

X: Raspier race-car sound.

Or a pro-chamber which has pretty much no rasp at all, pro-chambers are favorites of a lot of people
