Any truth to the rumor that UDP's eventually burn out ur alternator?

Never heard that one. They can cause charging issues though since the alternator is being under driven.

They make the accesories that you put the pullies on make less rotations so it is less parasitic loss on The drive train

I've been running UDPs for about five years with no problems. Granted I did have to replace my alternator a few months back, but that's because it literally fell apart on me!.. Lol

I'm running forged internals, 78mm tb and CAI 4.10s, custom dyno tune and ecu chip with a lot more engine mods, would I benefit from UDP's?

It's weird how they're fine for some people and wreak havoc for others.

the only way I would think you would have an alt. Issue is if you have a big sound system and the alt couldn't keep up

True. And the way around that would be a higher output alternator.

99mustang99 ~ The UDP upgrade gives you a solid and proven 8-12hp over stock. In short yes your engine would make real hp over what your already making reguardless of your other mods because its a parasitic mod. My experience UPR and Steeda are good suppliers of UPD's and I do not recommend BBK brand for UDP's.
