Found a deal on CL, not sure exactly how to go about purchasing a used tuner tho, anyone with experience I would appreciate some info/help http://cnj.craigslist.org/pts/3697587889.html

Just make sure it's not married to a car and that it's compatible with your OBD2 system.
It says decide unmarried and 5 unlocks left, so as long as that's not an old photo, you're good.

Yea 1st make sure it's unmarried or it's $150 to unlock it!! Also a new one might be smarter..$200 plus tunes for ur car (about $150 depending on who u go with) = about $350. A new one is about $380. Just food for thought!

Yea I kept that in mind, I offered 135$, 150$ is the highest ill go or ill just purchase a new one with tunes for life

Yea anything under 150$ is a good deal! After that make sure it fits & it's unmarried & u should be good!

That's a very good point! The free tunes for life deal from AM saves a lot of money too.

$135 + $150 = $285 so ur saving like $100! I think it's worth it! Again just make sure it's unmarried or that's another $150 to unlock it!

It was for his 2012 , does my 02 and his 12 have the same OBD2 system?

i think its only up to the 07's that its compatible with our new edges but im not sure
