Problem when low fuel

When I am low on fuel it seems like the fuel isn't getting to the motor and seems to wanna surge. My evap sensor is also on so could that be something wrong too?

Your motor shouldn't be starving for fuel when it's low?

It shouldn't be surging like that. I have a truck too and it runs identical to when It is full

Change your fuel pump and fuel filter it may have been ran out of gas and picked up the bottom of the tanks particles and may be clogging one or the other

I suggest if you do the work run the car as low as you can on gas to make tank lighter when you drop it. If you are getting a new pump go for the svt focus pump

Gotcha. I just want that dang light off for good. I know a tune will do it but if my fuel pump is bad then a tune won't fix it
