Throttle body

I'm getting gears with my tax money and then a TB/plenum next and I had a buddy tell me to get Accufab because the cheaper ones stick. I was planning on getting the Stack Racing 70mm. Is it worth spending that much more for a Accufab over Stack Racing? What about a Trick Flow?

I have a accufab but any will work roughly the same, the accufab yields a slight advantage but all go the same thing for the most part.

They usually start sticking when they're real dirty.

StangerBanger04,

Changing the Upper Plenum and TB is a nice upgrade for a little extra HP/TQ throughout the power band. I think you'll be happy with any of these options.

We haven't seen any issues with the SR Performance TB/Plenum either. No sticking, cracking, or poor fitment complaints as far as we're aware of! As someone already mentioned, sticking usually happens when the TB is dirty anyways.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Shane

Sweet thanks dudes. That's what I needed to know. I think I'll save a few hundred dollars and just get the Stack Racing TB/plenum combo.

No problem! I'm assuming you already have a Custom Tuner? Not that a tuner is required for this mod, but you'll really get the most out of it.

Again, feel free to shoot me a PM if there's anything else I can help with!

It's the BBK 78mm one piece, install was simple and no dyno tune necessary after install.

I got it from AM. It's in perfect condition as well.

I also have the K&N CAI that I got from AM as well, which is in perfect condition, you can buy that too if you want.

So you can buy new or buy from me and save hundreds, end result will be the same.

I was looking more for a 70mm. I know the 78mm could potential kill horsepower. Especially with a NA car like mine. Thanks though man.

I have a stock GT exactly like yours.

It does not kill horsepower.

The BBK 78mm on a stock GT is the best combination and that is fact.

Just seems kinda big for my car when all I got is CAI and tune. I think if I was going the FI route I would consider the 78mm. It's a perfect design though with the TB and plenum all in one design. I'd love to have it though. I just think it might be too big..

trying to tell you bro, I didn't even have a tune and the thing ran unreal after install.

You are not understanding this and it's gong to cost you more money to buy that same thing.

It is this product:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/bbk-78...le-intake.html

And this product:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/kn-cai-9604-gt.html

These two products are the best for YOUR CAR and that is FACT. Read the product description and reviews.

Shane, will you tell him that these two parts rock for his car especially with his chip. I know you won't get the sale on this but I buy all my parts from you guys, just spent 1500 last week on parts for my KB, so I am loyal there.

Bro, just trying to inform you with facts and save you some coin.

I can probably sell it for more to someone in Charlotte anyway, just trying to show some love to fellow ME member.

Not one issue, this thing has like 2000 miles on it and it ran awesome. When I got this new job I decided to buy a KB, which has nothing to do with these two parts.

These parts won't even work with a KB, that's why I am selling them.

The BBK is 200 and the KN is 125 shipping included. Both are in perfect condition.

No issues with the TB because I researched that and found there was no issues.

I think there are pics on AM site with the tower brace if I am not mistaken.

I just didn't get it because I went KB.

I would just buy the BBK one piece TB intake since I got the CAI. So it's completely alright to put on a NA 2v without harming it or not going down the FI route??

Prices are firm.

I'll dig the box up and I have to go down to the shop after work to get at the BBK.

Extreme Mustangs in Monroe, NC can verify parts condition if you wish.
