Well congrats on the win lol. I've always preferred an h over an x but that's just me. I'm sure which ever route you take you'd be happy, sorry couldn't help.

Similar setup. Has high flow cats but it won't be dramatically different.

Congrats on the purchase Iam also getting some long tube headers but no new mid pipe. Is there a way to use my full length mid pipe with the long tube? Like cut and weld the mid pipe I have a welder I can use so if it is possible I would really like to not buy another mid pipe. Any help would be great

Oooo and if I was you man I would use the h pipe they are great

IMO an h-pipe sounds better on a mod motor than an x-pipe. It gives it a deeper tone that the x-pipe lacks. And if course hp difference is negligible between the two so its really what sounds better to you.

The h pipe he will have is a shorty so you will need long tube headers to make it fit? And you think the shorty mid pipe will fit with any set of headers cause Iam getting bbk Long tubes would it have to be a bbk shorty if I can't get my h pipe to work?

Yea cause I have a flowtech h pipe but as long as there the same pipe size Iam pretty sure I could just weld them together but in your case the h pipe that comes with the lts should bolt right up so if I was you just to save you the hassle of cutting and wielding the x just use the h pipe and if you really hate it for some reason then just switch it out
