Tail light bulbs

I ordered the smoked tail light tint from AM but I'm worried that my tail lights will be too dark. Has anyone gotten the silver star lights from advance auto? Are they brighter than stock?

A little bit (they're what I use) but the raxiom smoked tails aren't too dark really. Honestly, there are darker stock tail lights out there. I've had the cops riding my *** with the smoked lights and i had no problems.

Should I even spend the money on the bulbs then?

Meh, i wouldn't worry about it honestly. And hell, for the 10 mins of work it takes to change them you could always upgrade later.

Ummm ill check next time I'm in the garage. There are 2 different bulbs and I'm sure any parts store would be able to tell you. Might be a 2272 bulb?

There are led swaps you can do if need be. But it's wasted money imo. Unless you have really dark tint.
