Do i need new abs module?

My abs light has been on for a while now so I took it to a shop to fix it. The shop guy said the abs reader could not talk to my cars abs module. So he recommends replacing the and module. Is that all I can do? If so where is the best place to get a cheap one?

Fuses are fine. From my research online the no connection error is common with our year car
