Front End Appearance Package

Anyone purchase American Muscle's front end appearance package? 2 smoked headlights, Mach 1 grill delete, Mach 1 chin spoiler, and the short antennae. If you have it, do you like it?!

I have all of that but I went back to stock headlights. I couldn't see too well with the smoked ones. Other than that I'm a happy camper

Do you think HID lights at like 6000k would help? And how's installation of the lip?

i wouldnt order the Mach1 chin spoiler from American muscle of you want the authentic Mach1 look. AMs looks kinda cheap to me. You can order one from Ford for just a few bucks more and it looks ten times better. Bought my delete grill from there tho, just wiser i would have bought the 3 piece kit , would have been way more simple

I have 6000k lights and it didn't help too much. But also I have a big cowl hood that is hard to see over too. It looked great in the daytime but night was really hard

I have the smoked headlight covers with 10k HIDS and a 4 inch cowl and I can seem just fine. See a lot better if u take the cover off, covers are the best route to go

I agree with that but you can't see if it rains at night. That's what my problem was

Have everything except the smoked headlights. The ones I have just have a blacked out housing. I have the mach 1 grille delete, mach 1 chin spoiler. But I also have the black hood pin appearance kit. I love the way my front end looks. Super mean!!!!

I don't get the package, but I ended up getting all the pieces in the package individually, except I got the dark smoked headlights instead of the ones in the package.

Looks good! How's the visibility with the headlights? Do you have HIDs?

OP,

I love the appearance package we have available. It really cleans up any New Edge GT. However, if you're worried about lower lighting, then you could always upgrade to a brighter halogen bulb. Sylvania Silverstar Ultra's definitely do the trick! They're much brighter than any other halogen bulb that I've seen.

Hope this helps!

Shane

I did notice a decrease in visibility (especially since a bulb burned out after I put them in. But I live in a suburb area with tons of street lights and I only drive at night once a week, so it didn't really affect me.

They are pretty nice. The only thing is that they are starting to rust a little bit on the cables

I would dip them. Not a fan of chrome anyways lol.
How hard was it to install?

That's a good idea! Not hard to install at all. I drilled the holes on the end of the cables to make them bigger so I could mount them to the actual frame. But other than that its pretty straight forward. Make sure you stick them in the right spot or it will look pretty dumb.
