Stupid noise

So lately I've been hearing a squeeking when I hit bumps. I want to say its something in the front end. But when I'm still and turn the wheel. There is no noise. Only when driving down the road. What Could it be? Ball joint? Tie rod? Something just need to be greased. Need somebody's help.

I can pick up so many noises that my car makes... If I focused on all of them it would drive me CRAZY. I just turn up the radio now. Besides, mustangs are fairly noisy. But if it's something you can't stand then I would try to fix it. Maybe its something with your transmission? Since you said its not noisy staying still

Could be a front control arm bushing needing grease perhaps. If u hear it when you turn the front wheels it could be a bad ball joint. If it is a bad joint get it fixed right away could be disastrous if it fails. You can check them by raising the front and at the 12 and 6 position grab the tire and see if there is any movement. Then do 9 and 3 position to check the tierod ends. Also check the rubber boots on the ball joint and tiered ends to see if they r torn any.

Yea that's what I plan on doing. Gotta get it up on a lift in the next couple days. Been reading around and everyone's been saying it could just need to be greased. Because I can turn the wheels and there's no noise.

A bad ball joint will sound like pulling a rusty nail out when u turn the front tires.

Just have ur control arm, sway bar bushings greased then go from there.

CHeck to see if there is any play in the ball joints and tierod ends. If the boots are torn they wont hold grease. They will need replacing.
