Running 110 octane or c12?

Want to know if I could just run 110 octane or c12 on a fuel Injected 2v. Do I need any mods to run it?

To run race gas? Hmm no you can pour it in..

I'd just pour 2-3 gallons of the 110 and pour 93 gas in the rest. You don't want to run pure gas race .. And if you run it too much you could cause internal problems just a lil FYI

Could I just run half 93 and half race gas.? Cause when I race I only race with like 1/8 of a tank or just on E would that be safe?

Try mixing 2 and 2

I had a buddy with a stage 4 Terminator , and he would run 2-3 Race has , and the rest 93..

Try 2/2 gallons

Be careful doing it. Seen it help and also be devastating.

How much should it help in 1/4 mile or 1000 foot like how many tenths if any?

Unleaded or leaded either one give better performance? Or which one is safer? And do I need to change my spark plugs or worry about my o2 sensors burning out. Or gumming up my injectors or fuel pump or filter or anything at all?

My friend runs half race gas half 91 when he goes to the drag strip... But he has a 69 firebird so he needs it to just run right.

I dont know what advantage there is to running race gas unless you have an engine with a signifigantly higher than stock compression ratio. My car seems to run fine on pump gas...

I run about 4 to 5 gallons of VP C16 117 octane mixed with 93 on a race tune which allows me to run additional timing. My car picks up anywhere from 40 to 50 rwhp on the dyno.

It's his dads car, right now it has the stock 350 in it, they used to have a Pontiac 455 in it that made like 5-600 pounds of torque on all motor, that engine sounded amazing, but since he gave it to his son to drive they put the 350 into it. He could lift the wheels off the ground a good bit with slicks on.

Running on low fuel is just asking for engine damage or fuel pump failure.

If you are not tuned for race gas all you're doing is light weight mod to your wallet. The 2v is not able to advance timing enough to gain anything.

Also, running leaded fuel with cats will be a very expensive fix. Your cats will not last long at all.

So you'd run 4 to 5 gallons race gas with about 9 or 10 gallons of 93 and your getting gains?

---------- Post added at 04:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:07 PM ----------

So a 1/3 of race gas and 2/3 of 93 pump gas I will get safe gains and do I need leaded or unleaded

I run C16 which is leaded race gas. I usually will have about a half tank or so and add 5-6 gallons of race gas. Please make sure you have no cats because the race gas will damage them.

Isn't leaded gas bad for your engine?

Do you need a tune?
