I am actually doing that this summer, I'm gonna paint the intake aluminum to match the engine block, and then I'm going to paint my covers ford blue and paint the ridges on the valve cover aluminum to make it look cooler.
Here's a pic of my engine bay when I got the car and now, I haven't done a whole lot to make it look cooler other than just cleaning it up.
