I have a Jlt on my 02 and had a bbk the Jlt was the plastic which me personally felt cooler then the bbk which was metal. Not a real difference though. It's all opinion and personal preference

Yes your computer will adjust. You can simply disconnect your negative terminal on your battery and the computer will relearn how you drive. This is how the fuel injection things work now.

I felt like it was odd that he was saying no one pipe is better than the other but then he comes back and says that his polished piping is better than K&N's plastic piping

It's pretty much the same. I bought a eBay one for $50 and like it. The am one would have a k&n filter, but the other one is washable and if you wanted the k&n, just replace it

I made a thread on cold air intakes and got a lot of feed back about how they werent just a pipe with a filter and how it actually has some back pressure. But thats just what ive been told.

Those filters are so small. And I don't really trust a Fender well air pickup if your car is a dd. My old car had one and I always worried about it sucking up water. These are cheap intakes but if you really want one go for the ebay one. You won't see anything for gains. As for cheap no name springs. Not on your life. I've seen no name springs snap and have seen kits with unequal length springs and even springs without any proper coating on them at all. Get a quality set of springs. You get what you pay for.

Agreed about the springs.. As long as you re clip the fender lining, sucking up water won't be an issue. I've been using Mac CAI for years.. Zero issues of any sort.

Yeah I've been trying to research them for a while (springs). Ima just go with a set from AM.

Ima just go for quality not price wise. This is my first mustang so I kinda new to certain things

I have one like that it doesn't go far down into the fender at all so you don't have to wrry about water. And you won't really see any gains from any cai with out a tune. I think the eBay one is fine just swap out the filter for a high quality one suck as bbk or k&n and your good to go
