When it rains and snows do you drive it? Do you want like street radials or something like an all season? I have Continental DWS and love them they are great in the rain, I have never tried them in the snow but supposedly they are the best all season for snow. But the biggest you can get is a 295 and I'm not sure if that will fit on an 11 but it might.

well biggest you can go on 11 is 345/30/17, i have 10.5 rears on mine and im running 275/50/17, i know weird size but its functional on the track, toyo proxies. however i know 275 may be a little stretch but will fit on the rears, so a safe size on the rear is 315/35/17, as to the fronts on a 9.5 rim 275/40/17 work perfectly and so do 255/45/17

Just save up some money and buy a crap car for when it snows then get whatever tires you want. That's what I did and I'm only 19.

So what brand tires would you go with? That are wide and hook up good but will work kind of all around?

Get on Tire rack. Com and search by size for what you want and look around. If you want 315's you will probably have to get street radials or ultra high summer performance and they won't be to good in the rain or snow but go look around.
