Quick question

I have a buddy who's parting out a 93 fox. It's got the 5.0 in it and was looking for parts that I may or may not use. It has an aluminum driveshaft and I was wondering if it would fit into my 96 gt. also if it does are there any other problems you guys can foresee happening?

93 to 96 driveshaft. I don't see that being possible.

The same drive shaft will fit from '79-'95. '96-'04 are the same. But since your 4.6 must've been replaced with a 5.0, it should fit. Take it off and try it

You will need a 31 spline slip yoke to put on it but other than that they are the same.

Might not even need to do that if the drivetrain is out of a 95 or older

He's still got the 96 drivetrain so yes he would still need to.

He was referring to the fox being a 5.0.

If I swap the yoke from my stock d/s and put it on the aluminum would that make it fit, or would it be out of balance then?

Shouldn't be out of balance, but if yours is grooved I would swap the you're for a new one.
