Call me crazy

Unlike the typical exhaust thread where the loud preference is preferred I want some suggestions on quieting my stang down. Okay this does not mean I want it quiet however I would like a more subtle, sexy tone rather than just a loud raspy exhaust. The previous owner installed a bassani x pipe, hi-flow cats and pypes violator cat back exhaust. This setup is loud and mean. I am sure some of you are running way louder than what I am currently, but I dont need to be heard throughout the day driving through town as much as I do. Like I said before, I want something that is a clean sound that becomes more prominent during hard acceleration. This exhaust seems to be raspier than I would like. So could anyone suggest the best, cheapest route for what I am looking for. And any idea how much I could get for my current mufflers.

Thanks

Prochamber, it will give you a good deep tone on idle and at cruising speed but will scream when you want it to.

Ok, here is what you have to do.

Take your car to the dealership....and tell them you would like to trade in for a Prius, I hear they are really quiet

Lol just kidding bro, I personally want my car to be as obnoxious and loud as possible, but plenty of people are looking for a deeper quieter rumble that will roar when you stomp it... Sorry I couldn't help and for trolling, best of luck finding what you want. Someone will chime in with helpful info pretty soon.

Haha I knew something like that was coming. I would keep it louder if it wasn't my daily driver.

Get a stock gt500 exhaust. It's very quiet.

Well I don't want quiet I guess what I'm looking for is more of a deeper sound not as raspy. It's hard to explain because its all subjective.

Do any of the major exhaust companies release the decibel levels? When I got exhausts for my dirt bikes and atvs it was a lot easier to compare because they gave the decibel level so I could compare different manufactures.

Op, you are the perfect candidate for magnaflows. I had them and They sound really good, just a little too quiet for me.

I 2nd this. I have Borla because the decibels have to be under a certain threshold here. I would love my car to be louder but it still sounds great.
