2003 Mustang GT Engine Block?

I have a '03 GT with the 4.6 SOHC, and my friend has an '02 GT, we were wondering are our block cast iron or aluminum? I can't seem to find solid information on the internet so what do you guys know? Thanks!

They're cast iron

99-Early 2001 models and Late 2001-2004 Are different ( Block , Heads , Water Pump, Manifold, Etc. )
Your blocks are Iron, I believe only cobras are aluminum.

96-98 Cobras are aluminum Teksids
99 Cobras are mostly Teksids with a few WAPs in there AFAIK
01 Cobras are aluminum WAP blocks
03/04 Cobras are cast iron blocks
03/04 Mach 1s are aluminum WAP blocks
96-04 GTs are cast iron
02-05 Explorers are aluminum WAP blocks

Your search fu sucks too lol, this info is all over the internet in the bazillion Mustang forums out there. Its all good tho.
