Gas Mileage

On Sunday I filled up my car with 93 octane from a Mobil gas station. I was curious to see how many miles I got out of a full tank so I reset my trip counter and checked it again today. I am now at 3/4 of a tank and have gone 43 miles, is this normal to get on a 1/4 tank? What are your guys mileage?

Oh, almost forgot, only mods done are magnaflow catback, bbk cai, offroad h pipe, and a diablosport predator "diablo" tune.

I can get maybe 250 miles to a full tank but I have 4.10s. Totally worth it though.

Damn I'm quite jealous of you guys. I usually get about 200 miles out of a full tank, but that's all city miles.

I usually barely get to 190-200 miles for when the light comes on. I usually get 12-14mpg, but hey its a Mustang, i drive it like it was built to be driven. oh and my miles are all city.

Wow i thought i was getting less than stellar milage bc my friends GT gets 25 mpg. I have been adding Lucas oil fuel injector cleaner every 3k miles. Rly makes my car run smooth. And I also put premium grade in my tank.

I drive all city, and usually only cruise around at about 20-25mph which is 2000-2400rpms. I drive like this just because I like the sound, so if my mpg is bad, at least I'm enjoying it.

When I drive all city miles, I get to 3/4 of a tank after driving 40-55 miles (depending on driving habits). When doing all highway, I hit 3/4 tank after 80-90 miles of driving. I average 21-22 mpg with 80% highway driving and 373 gears. Your mpg is perfectly normal for a GT

I get about 250 to a tank but I'm all city driving with quite a bit stop and go lol and I wish I could drive all the time with the 93 Race tune but I feel like that would burn my tank up faster

You guys need to figure out your gas mileage right too start...

Miles drivin (divided by) gallons filled up with.. Example

Fill tank... Drive 100 miles.. Fill tank back up 5 gallons..

100miles/5gals=20mpg

Yeah I've got 17 stop lights on my 5 mile drive to work so I do a lot of stop and start. I usually hit at least 6 of them just on the way to work

Very true haha, usually the more fun it is to drive the less MPGs. I'll take that trade off

I will say mine runs 11' s in the quarter, so I guess its worth the trade off....I hear a twin turbo v6 does same performance but better mileage, I may have to plan another build

Mine used to be like this, but now I'm in the same boat as the OP. I drive city w/ some hwy. I have a bad o2 sensor though. Gotta fix that and see what happens

I only care in times like now when I have no money and I'm trying to get to work to pay bills.
