Need new shocks? Opinions

I need new rear shocks the shop said its gonna cost 180 is that a good price? Should I just do it myself? If so what shocks should I get?

Did ur shop quote parts or labor or both. It depends on your budget,

What brand are they if I can ask???

That's everything.. 50.99 a shock never said the brand.. Ether 50.99 or 30.99.. I picked the better ones..

Well Ive Changed brakes, fluids, plugs, wires ect before but never don suspension work..

It's just one bolt in the trunk, and one bolt at the bottom and it will slide out..

And no you don't neccassry need special shocks if your car is lowered.. Mine is slammed and I'm just running blue Tokico shocks, and its been fine. They just might wear out faster..

You want to get a shock that is valved for spring with high spring rates otherwise it blow the seals.
