Blowing Chunks

When i turn my car on full fan a/c some chuncks of some greasy foam stuff came out of my vents, any clue what this is??

I believe it's some weird insulation type crap that they threw back there and overtime from it getting wet from the ac moisture it starts to mold up a bit and break apart, than starts coming through the vents, the stuff is nasty, not exactly sure what it is but that's my best guess

Same thing on my 98 4runner and my moms 2000 Durango.. At least for mine, I left it running to blow all that stuff out and then cleaned it all up

When i first got my car same thing.. I took out all the vents and cleaned them and i haven't seen them since !
