Lt's

Am says a tuner would help clean up the a/f when lt's are put on...so if i didnt get the tuner would it still flow well and safely?
Also to keep from the ce light coming on ill need to purchase o2 extensions and mil's? Or if i just go catted can i skip the mil's? I need catted anyway to pass inspection.
Thanks! This will help me with my decision whether or not to go shorties or lt

First thing yes you can install them without a turn your just not gonna see the most hp and tq gain as you would with a tune. Second yes you will need the extenders as the o2 sensors are placed further down the pipe. Third as for the mil if your running cats you will not need an mil if you do decide to run o/r you will need them. Other then that your engine light will be fine and you will still see gains with the long tubes you just won't squeeze every last pony outta it as you would with the tune. I hope this answered all your questions.

One more thing if you do go long tubes you will need a whole new x pipe as well you have to get a shorty x pipe so just another though to keep in mind.

If off road mid pipe it needs the mil or custom tune so the check engine light wont stay on. And all long tubes need extenders because the o2s are farther down than shorties

Nope. But if u get a shorty mid pipe which fits long tubes it wont fit stock or shorties.
