Speedo sticking?

I have a 2000 gt 5speed sometimes I notice that my speedo will take a min to move and will just stick in one spot till I tap the cluster. What's an easy way to fix this?

if you have ever put in white face gauges etc the needle could be sticking, If the needle was removed it could have been put on to far down and drags (it doenst take much)
