More towards raspy. I don't like super 44s. I want loudmouths but I'm trying to save money.

Well if you're just gonna buy the m80s and have them welded then just save a little more and get loudmouths.

And I agree with the flows. I had 44s and then I dumped them and still didnt like them. Went to loudmouths and it's amazing. Especially with an offroad midpipe.

They are okay, I had them paired with a O/R X pipe but I wouldn't go with them again.
They just weren't loud enough for me, and were too high pitched .

Loudmouth 1 >

I want loudmouths but its like $150 for the pair. M80s are $90. I'm just trying to save. I do agree though. Loudmouths are sweet.

I have the m-80 mufflers and I like them. I'm eventually going to go with loudmouths but I'm waiting to get everything then put it all on in a single lift. If I were you I'd just save up an extra $60 and go with the slp. Not saying the m-80 is bad just go with what you want to save you that $90 later on.

Had my 6 cats and lm1s for a few months. They have a sweet spot and a good drone, but I finally slapped an o/r x on and it's insanely louder. But they'll scream even without and x or h.. You'll love them if you like loud just know that lol

The M80's will give you a very throaty/raspy tone for sure. They sound pretty similar to the SLP Loud Mouths, but not exactly. Honestly, for the price you can't go wrong. I'm willing to bet they're provide just the tone you're looking for it you like the SLP exhaust.

Holy! Would it be safe to remove 4 of them? Or is that too much and would hurt mpg?

Nah that's what I did right when I got the car and didnt have issues. Then I put the 4 back on for some dumb reason and now I have an X. But taking off 4 lets it breathe more for sure and to my knowledge won't hurt MPG but I'm sure someone else can fill in if I'm wrong

No it won't hurt. If anything it will help the motor breathe which will give better gas mileage

Bingo. Removing cats helps a lot. More power too.

Don't believe what mufflers shops tell you. No cats won't hurt anything at all.
