Plasti dip trunk lid

Instead of buying like the honeycomb trunk lid and lower part on the rear bumper could I just plasti dip them n has anyone done it before? Don't feel like wasting 100 bucks for it

Plasti dip is an easy inexpensive way but I don't like it because its more of a flat black.. Id prefer it to be more of a glossy black.. I got my trunk and valence done with vinyl.. I'm sure you can find some on eBay and maybe DIY.. Just my opinion though

Dipped my wing, chin spoiler and hood scoop. Love the scoop, looks like a shaker scoop now. They do sell a gloss coating for the dip.
