Taillights

I've been thinking about getting new taillights. Right now I have the black out covers from American muscle but the don't fit we'll for some reason. Almost seem warped so I was thinking of just getting new taillights instead of using that. Any recommendations? Pics please.

Those are LED so just take some VHT and smoke the crap out of them. They should look good after that and still give good light.

Plz don't rice out a Mustang. Stockers or 99/01 Cobras if you can get them. Smoke them if you want but Halo/Altezza/whatever lights... ugh no.

The 05-09 cars need headlight and taillight upgrades to look good, New Edges and SN95s look best with the stock stuff or the stock Cobra stuff in the SN95's case.

Those euro tail lights are horrible. There was a member awhile back selling the 99 Cobra tails. Check the classifieds for them. Also if you want to smoke them with VHT there is a great way to do it which involves a glass bowl. It's like baking it...almost.

use masking tape to tape off anything you don't want painted (especially if your leaving them on the car) clean them with rubbing alcohol then spray light even coats until you reach the darkness you like then someone else will have to jump in about polishing them. ive always heard to polish them. they look a lot better polished but ive never personally attempted it

im sure theres better methods as well

If doing yourself and taping be sure to double layer the tape to be safe.
