Squealing Brakes

Changed the rear pads on my 97 GT and now they squeal when I start out after the car has sat for a while. New pads are Akebono Ceramic pads. Any ideas why the new pads would do this and the old ones didn't?

Pull out the pads and shoot them with this stuff--CRC Disc Brake Quiet. Permatex markets a similar product.

I do not change pads without using it--prevents "come-backs"...

+ 1, if you didnt replace or resurface the rotors you still may just squeek even after putting some of the lube on the back of the pads, the rotors may be warped if anything, usually what i do is either resurface my rotors or replace them like im goin to soon.

I'll try the spray. The brakes didn't make a sound until I changed them.
