Just make sure you have a hose at the end and somewhere to catch the fluid

Which tool? You have to spin and compress at the same time

I was a little nervous to do that. Shouldn't it have just been easy to go back in though? Every video I have seen it has just been easy to turn

Mine are fairly tough to get back in. Maybe it's locked up. Is it both?

Just have to disconnect it from the brake lines and take it off and get a new one from a parts store. There's rebuild kits for them too but it's all up to you
