Doesn't sound good sounds like maybe bad bearings. Does it smoke or have any exhaust leaks under the hood? What's your oil look like is it full does it look normal or milky?

Yeah I've flushed out the cooling system a few times but it doesn't last too long before it starts again

Maybe badly blown head gasket. U can take it to some shops and they can tell you whether or not ur getting exhaust in your coolant.

Try and drop a whole pi engine in it. Shouldn't be too expensive

Either a rod knock or a spun bearing. Motor is toast.

Sounds like if you've been having overheating issues you blew a head gasket plus you said your coolant is milky that's a dead giveaway. But also sounds like a spun rod bearing.
