New engine needs tune

I fired up my new engine it's a 5.1 stroker with Trick Flow twisted wedge heads and 270 Comp Cams. My question is the car was tuned with these cams but in a stock head and block engine. The car currently starts harder than it did before and the engine shakes during idle is this normal without a fresh tune? The shop that did the cam install supposedly degreed the cams but when I look at the timing marks they appear to be set as the factory would. I figured degreeing cams would have the timing marks moved a little but maybe I'm wrong? Does anyone know of a reputable shop in the New England area that could check the cams? I'm willing to travel a few hundred miles if I have to. Thanks
