intake manifold

My car has 135k on it and the intake manifold blew again (second time in 4 years) on it I believe. When I was going down the road it overheated and when I popped the hood the steam was coming from the top. So that leads me to think its the intake manifold. Does that sound right. And if so any suggestions on what to do with it.

If you replaced it with the Dorman brand intake then that's no surprise. Get the ford racing one. It has an aluminum crossover pipe so it won't blow.

+100000 the Dorman is complete garbage! The intake holes are smaller then that of the Ford racing one and doesn't come with the aluminum crossover which is vital

I just went to my mechanic and he installed it and ordered it for less that what American muscle sells it for. He charged me 180 and it is the ford racing one
