I've always heard oem is best. With that said, Maximum Motorsport sells an oem replacement that is highly recommended throughtout Mustang circles.

Is your clutch OEM? If so I'd go with a stock one from Ford. If not I have a Steeda cable that seems to work good.

What stage? I have a Ram stage 3 clutch and it has a warning in the box that says using factory clutch cable will cause failure and void the warranty. I picked up my clutch cable firewall adjuster and quadrant from AM for a great price.

To be honest I didn't do the install. I'm going through chemo so a friend of mine did a engine swap along with everything else. But They are straight forward the worst part is getting the adjustment right that may take some time. Check and see if you have the stock plastic quadrant if you do change it out definitely a mod worth it's weight in gold.

I love Steeda's cable kits. I run the full kit in my 04GT and the quadrant/ FW adjuster in my 89. No issues with their cable, lots of angry miles.

Installation is cake in an SN car, especially if you remove the seat.
