Looking into 4v's

I'm looking into getting a 96-01 Cobra that is bone stock, and I would keep it that way. I'm already tired of the constant trying to get my car to keep up with modern stuff so I want to get a more rare car to just cruse in and take to car shows. The only thing I would do to one is get a cat back to make it sound better. So far I am leaning more towards the 96-98 body style. The new edges are plain looking to me and I cant afford a 03-04 cobra. What is the general thoughts on the 96-98 cobras? How is their performance stock?

They're still good cars. Not a termi but still faster than most cars you'll see on the road.

The fact that my dad drives a 12 5.0 makes it hard for me to feel fast lol. His car rapes my 02. So I'm looking for a rare car that I don't really care if its the fastest thing on the road.

Rare: 95 Cobra R
In all seriousness, an SN95 cobra is an awesome car. I had the chance to get one a year or so back and I still kick myself for not jumping on it!!

You and me both! 98 cobra that had $17k worth of stuff including a 408 with a turbo with less then 2000 miles. Wanted $9800 because he was a pretty good bud. Bought an 03 gt with 168xxx miles for 5k instead :/

I like the sn95 cobas they look great and have better performance than a new edge 2v. Finding a stock one is going to be hard just because people love to mod thier stangs. They are pretty rare but i wouldnt say there so rare that they will skyrocket in value any time soon.

If you find a rare stang stock you should jump on it. Value goes up, and eventually someone will buy it and end up wanting to mod.

My dream car . The only thing I would do to it is give it a stance and put exhaust on it
