Removing Thermostat

Thinking about removing my thermostat, I live in Houston so cold is not much of a factor. When I fill my reservoir on my coolant, I can drive it for a while and then it will overboard at the cap then my wearer light will come on this happens every time but there is still coolant at the low end of my reservoir tank sensor. What's causing it to overboard and my temp is always running good on the gauge, no overheating problem.

Try replacing the thermostat they are cheap and really should be part of your cooling system.

Very necessary. You live in Texas, the thermostat keeps your motor from overheating.
